Authenticity, curiosity, joy, beauty and compassion - my pursuit of these values drives my approach as I craft harmonious and accessible designs that inspire and empower people to live happier, healthier and more productive lives.

I strive to generate effective and holistic design solutions through a truly collaborative process that involves holding a welcoming space for people to share their stories, ideas and goals and then weaving those valuable insights into the design.

As a designer with a unique background in sociological research, hospitality, community outreach and advocacy work, I have a unique collection of experiences building meaningful connections and directly engaging with team and community members to advance a collective vision. This experience has also endowed me with the ability to quickly adapt and work compassionately with diverse groups of people. My studies in Sociology, International Affairs, and Multicultural and Inclusive Leadership Theory sparked my passion for intentionally contributing to a more inclusive, cohesive and thriving global community.

After spending a number of years crafting memorable experiences and working with various nonprofit organizations that advocate for and amplify marginalized voices, I decided to leverage design thinking and digital tools informed by research and universal design principles in my continuation of this work to empower people and drive positive social change.

In addition to design and advocacy work, some of my interests include:
• cross-cultural UX
• yoga & dance
• embroidery
• art gazing
• Kurt Vonnegut & Virginia Woolf literature
• anime, Tim Burton & French New Wave films
• coffee, cocktails & wine
• Mexican & breakfast foods
